We operate three businesses under the Winesights banner.

Our first business is Winesights Agency.  Our agency is licensed to import fine wines from France into the Province of Ontario. 

We select wines from small craft producers whom we have come to know personally through regular travel to France. 

Our focus is selling wine to the professional trade: we distribute our wines to restaurants and private clubs. Periodically, we introduce our wines to the Vintages program of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. We do not solicit private orders from individual customers in Ontario but we do sell to individuals when approached. 

The agency is a boutique business with a specialized focus.  We are proud of the wines we import and shamelessly promote them, just as the producers would do themselves if they were here in Ontario - we are the Ontario advocate for these wines.   

The second business is wine writing and education. We publish a Newsletter, conduct lectures on wine, and consult.  Our consulting includes wine cellar design and wine selection, articles for publication and speaking engagements on wine.

Our third business is a wine tours business.  In the future we will plan, organize and conduct tours on an occasional basis to the wine regions of France.  These tours will be a complement to our agency business.

These tours will generally be one week in length and cater to small groups of travelers who wish to learn more about wine by visiting the places where wine comes from.  Winesights tours will be carefully paced and very comfortable with fine accommodations and dining that cater to the tastes and preferences of our traveling guests. 

Our tours will combine wine tastings at selected vineyards, with visits to regional historic sites and cultural events to help our guests understand the context from which the wines come.

We will also be available to be tour guide on wine tours organized by travel agents or affinity groups such as alumni associations.
